As required by state law, all animals adopted from a shelter are required to be spayed or neutered. This is often a deal breaker for prospective pet parents, who simply can't afford the extra cost. As a result, more shelter animals may be euthanized. Thanks to donations from you, every pet adopted from Glynn County Animal Services is spayed or neutered when adopted.

In addition to spaying and neutering, donations made to the GCAS Advisory Board have provided a trailer for mobile adoptions, outfitted the trailer with cages, provided Kuranda dog beds for the kennels at the shelter, provided veterinary care for animals housed at the facility and much more.

Please click on the "Donate" button below to make a donation via PayPal, the most secure way to complete a monetary transaction online. If you can't afford to donate, how about volunteering? We always need volunteers to help with various functions at the facility. If your forte is office work, we can use you! If you love dogs and just want to walk and play with dogs, we can use you! If you love cats and could sit and stroke a cat all day while it purrs, we can use you! All the animals need time out of their cages and socialization with humans. If you love animals, this is one thing you can give them that's essential for their wellbeing. Please contact us to see how your special skills can benefit the animals at the shelter.

Thank you for helping the animals!
